The Basics

BnB Checklist is a tool for innkeepers to improve their properties, by learning and sharing a standard list of amenities. It can also be used by consumers---travelers visiting their properties---by giving feedback

Innkeeepers can use the ckecklist to improve... print it out and leave it in rooms or with the guest comment book, to facilitate feedback.
Guests can look up the self-reported checklists online for those properties that have published their checklist results.
Organizations of innkeepers to promote high standards.

As a traveler, I'm often noticing the same simple omissions from hotels, AirBnB's, and bed-and-breakfast sites, so I thought I'd do something to help.

Go to BnBChecklist.org... fill out the checklist for your BnB or other type of place...
Improve some of the gaps it reveals.
Print out the checklist, with or without your marks and leave copies in rooms or with your guestbook. Edit the top instructions to your liking.
Publish your checklist if you want to brag! This is the only feature that requires that you register, to discourage spurious postings.
By publishing, you automatically get the next sequential Member Number. Perhaps you'll be number 1. At the time this is being written, you can still claim the number 1 spot, which will never change!
